HAPM MAGNA is a joint venture with HAPM and Magna. It was registered in August 23rd, 2017, with a registered capital of 497 million RMB and consists of 5 branches, Tianjin, Liuzhou, Guiyang, Xiangtan and Kunshan, and a wholly-owned subsidiary in Thailand. There are 1141 employees, including 2 people with doctor's degree, 79 people with master's degree, 193 R&D personnel and 253 scientific and technological personnel. The main products include car seat recliner, track, height adjuster and seat frames. Main customers include Geely, Great Wall, BYD, Shanghai Volkswagen, GAC Trumpchi, Toyota, Ford, BMW, Beijing Benz, SAIC and other domestic mainstream car enterprises. In 2021, it has achieved a revenue of 1.66 billion RMB. It is the top three supplier of auto seat adjustment mechanisms in China, and its leading product, car seat recliner accounts for 20% of the domestic passenger car market. The scope of innovative research and development of the company ranges from the localization research (raw materials) of fine blanking steel strip, the design and manufacturing (equipment) of fine blanking die, the research and development of products (products), the design and development of production lines to the final product testing technology. The company has always implemented "independent innovation" into the research and development of the whole industry chain. There are 15 fine blanking machines which cover all series from 160t to1100t, 4 heat treatment lines, automatic assembling line, stamping line, and coating line, tooling capability and laser/arc welding capability as well. Discontinuous recliner discs cover main needs for static and dynamic strength in the market, with various operation torque’s and folding ranges. Continuous recliner discs is able to work under back load 150Nm, with stable performance in high/low/normal temperature. Manual version is achievable with self-lock system. META™ track is the benchmark for our customers, offers best-in-class sliding effort, smoothness, stability, resistant to vehicle variation and weight. The combination of efforts (20N), mass (1.1 Kg) and rocking stability (0.048 mm) make META™ track the best in the market, and is widely recognized by customers such as AR approved by Ford, GM, FCA & Honda. HGS7(High strength) self-adapting balls and high strength material application brings customer good comfort feeling of sliding force, its outstanding lock and peel strength can meet customers requirement (suitable for single seat). Combination of smallest mass/length ratio(2.36g/mm), 1.6mm high strength material, compact ball packaging, makes HGS7 own both light weight and high strength.
