Introduction
The vial is an injection bottle made of borosilicate glass or soda-lime glass. It is a small bottle sealed with a cork plug and an aluminum-plastic combination lid. Vials are mostly clear and amber in color, and borosilicate glass is the mainstream. It is generally used for packaging of vaccines, biological agents, powder injections, freeze-dried injections and other drugs.
The matching cork plugs include butyl rubber and white silicone, butyl rubber is for medical/freeze-dried powder, and white silicone is for cosmetics.
