The principle of ultraviolet light therapy instrument, through ultraviolet medium wave (UVB) or long wave (UVA) wavelength irradiation of the affected area, stimulates the recovery function of melanocytes, thus promoting the regeneration of skin melanin granule cells; adjusting the body's immunity and neuroendocrine, activating blood circulation, improving blood microcirculation. In turn, the patient's skin changes from red to dark red and dark brown, and finally normalizes the skin color.

That is, long-wave UV light is used in combination with certain photosensitizing drugs to treat skin diseases, or black light therapy or photochemotherapy.
