Overview

Dissolved air flotation (DAF) is a water treatment process that clarifies wastewater (or other water) by the removal of suspended matter such as oil or solids. It is widely used in the wastewater treatment.

The removal is achieved by dissolving air in the water or wastewater under pressure and then releasing the air at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank basin.

The released air forms micro or nano bubbles which adhere to the suspended matter causing the suspended matter to float to the surface of the water where it may then be removed by the skimming device.

CAF ( Cavitation Air Flotation) is a new sewage separating and purifying equipment especially for the grease separation, and also the separation of jelly and suspended solid in the industrial and city water. The CAF transform the micro-bubbles into the water directly through specially-designed bulk gas impeller instead of adopting complex air-dissolved technology with features of no obstruction, economic and convenient operation.
