Quartz Glass CondensingTube
A condensing tube is a laboratory device used to promote condensation. It usually consists of two glass tubes, one inside and one outside, with the smaller glass tube running through the larger glass tube. It is a glass instrument that uses a heat exchange principle to cool and condense a condensable gas into a liquid. There are three kinds of straight, spherical and serpentine. The specifications are expressed in length (mm) and there are 150~350 kinds.
The inner tube of the condensing tube has a mouth at both ends, which can be connected to other equipment of the experimental device to allow the hotter gas or liquid to flow through the inner tube to condense. The outer tube usually has an upper opening on both sides to connect the plastic tube carrying the cooling substance (such as water). When in use, the lower opening of the outer tube is usually connected to the faucet, because the water will automatically flow upward in the condensation tube to achieve a greater cooling effect.

Used in distillation liquid or organic preparation, for condensation or reflux. The reflux unit and distillation are two experimental devices that are often used in condenser tubes.
Scope of use: The temperature of the steam is greater than 140 degrees Celsius, using an air condensing tube, the temperature is less than 140 degrees Celsius, using a straight condenser.
The condenser is usually used on a flask to be tested under reflux conditions or on a distillation flask to collect the condensed liquid. Condensation of the vapor occurs on the inner wall of the inner tube. The space enclosed by the inner and outer tubes is such that the water area absorbs heat from the vapor and removes the heat. The water inlet usually has a high water pressure. In order to prevent the water pipe from falling off, the plastic tube should be tied with a tube bundle. When used in a reflux state, the lower end of the condenser tube is inserted with a rubber stopper so as to be inserted into the mouth of the flask to receive the vapor evaporated upward in the flask.
Straight condenser
It is composed of a straight glass tube with internal and external combination. It is mostly used for distillation operation. The steam temperature is less than 140 degrees and cannot be used for reflux. There are connecting pipe joints on the upper and lower sides of the outer pipe, and the nozzle and the water inlet are used.
Air condenser
The air condensing pipe and the straight condensing pipe are mainly used for distilling off the product (including distillation and fractionation). When the boiling point of the distillate exceeds 140 degrees Celsius, an air condensing pipe is generally used to prevent the straight condensing pipe from being cooled by water to cause a large temperature difference between the glass and the glass. Burst.
Spherical condenser
The inner tube is connected by a plurality of glass spheres for refluxing organic preparation and is suitable for liquids of various boiling points.
Serpentine condenser
Reflow for organic preparation, suitable for liquids with lower boiling points.
