Delrin/POM Plastic Balls:Delrin is the name commonly used for the less commonly known polyoxymethylene (POM) acetal plastic. It has high mechanical strength and rigidity, is tough and tolerant to repeated impacts and has a good long term fatigue endurance. It has excellent resistance to petroleum based solvents, moisture and other neutral chemicals. Its has good electrical insulating properties and self lubricates in use. It can be operated within a wide operating temperature range up to 150℃.
Note: There are many factors which may influence the performance of this product, temperature, chemical exposure etc. - always test for your own application before selecting large quantities of this product.

PTFE Balls (Polytetrafluorethylene) Balls.
PTFE is a non-friction material which is resistant to most corrosive agents and is electrically nonconductive.
PTFE is particularly suitable for use in apparatus designed to handle cryogenic liquids and acids.
Commonly used in ball seal valves.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that finds many applications.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) shows a extraordinary chemical resistance and it is insoluble in all known solvents. It is attacked only by molten alkali metals and by fluorine at high temperatures. PTFE is fire-resistant and may be used up to 260ºC. PTFE's coefficient of friction is very low and it shows the effect of self lubrication with stable mechanical properties which makes it mostly suitable for bearings, joints, O-rings, stirring bars, hazardous materials bottle pouers, syringes, crucubles, evaporating dishes etc. PTFE may be shaped by compression and sintering into bottles and beakers where its chemical stability and non-wettability make it suitable for use in extreme conditions.
