The raw material of Bentonite is composed mostly of 95% montmorillonite and 68% SiO2, it gives SYKOL a good Ion exchanging ability.
Montmorillonite consists of 3 layers or lamellae with two layers of silicon-oxygen tetrahedron sandwich alumina octahedral. Activated bleaching earth structure is very porous, it is able to absorb all kinds of substances, such as impurities, insecticide, and hydrocarbons.
After a series of processes of Inorganic acidic activation, washing, drying, binding sites were activated, the surface was enlarged, enhance the absorption ability of SYKOL clay.
