This kind of crusher machine uses impact energy to crush materials. Then, how does an impact crusher work? When it works, the rotor driven by the motor has high-speed rotation. Then materials are thrown to the counterattack device to be crushed again, and they are re-broken by hammer. Impact crushers work according to the impact-and-blow principle. The material to be crushed is caught by a spinning rotor equipped with blow bars, accelerated and hurled against a stationary impact wall (the breaker plates), from where it is fed again into the crushing radius of the rotor.

Fragmentation continues until the material being crushed is small enough to pass through the gap between the rotor and the breaker plates. The actual crushing process takes place when the material gets into contact with the blow bars and the breaker plates. In addition, the material is reduced in size by inter-particle collision.
