A large group of Calabrian food production companies has set up ITFOOD. Mercato delle Eccellenze di Calabria, with the aim of promoting and marketing the food excellence of the territory.
A structure of more than a thousand square metres located in the urban area of Cosenza, hosts the regional excellences and numerous partners that contribute to spread the culture of eating well and living healthy.
Partners such as Lorenzo Fortuna's Pizza Chef School, the Unione Regionale Cuochi Calabria, the International Sommelier Foundation, the Associazione Biologi Senza Frontiere, the Accademia Internazionale della Dieta Mediterranea, the Accademia Italiana del Peperoncino, and the Associazione Maitre Italiani Ristoranti e Alberghi.
By organising cookery workshops, training courses, information seminars and meetings to promote regional excellence within ITFOOD, they are helping to strengthen the presence of associations working in the field of agri-food culture, local development and excellent food and wine.
