Barbed wire also known as barb wire less often ,bob wire or bobed wire is a type of steel fencing wire constructed with sharp edges or points arranged at intervals along the strand. It used to construct inexpensive fences and is used atop walls surrounding secured property.
- Material: Carbon steel wire, stainless steel wire.
- Surface treatment: Galvanized or PVC coated.
Common colors of PVC are green, yellow, blue, red, white, and black. - Line wire: Thickness: #12,#12½,#13,#13½,#14,#14½,#15,#15½ (in B.W.G.)
Tensile strength: 1235 N/m2.
Galvanization: 275 g/m2. - Barb wire: Thickness: #12,#12½ ,#13 ,#14 ,#14½,#15,#15½ (in B.W.G.)
Spacing: 3″/ 4″/ 5″/ 6″
Tensile strength: 350 N/m2.
Galvanization: 240 g/m2. - Strand structure: Single strand barbed wire: formed with one line wire and many barbs.

Galvanized barbed wire

- PVC coated is that the wire covered with PVC.PVC coating not only strengthens the strength and toughness of the wire but also greatly improves the anti-rust performance. It also allows the barbed wire to have a more suitable color for different environments.
