This small business starts operations in 1986: with the honour of opening the business in the historical district of "La Marina" of Cagliari. Consisting of a two persons, Stefano Rocca the founder, and her Sister Luisa, and operation in the beginning in a modest laboratory of 40 square meters and one small car. Now, 2019 - 33 years later, the company name is Mediterranea Conserve Alimentari Srl, has expanded and growned considerably to consist of the following -: 13 staff, in a premisis of over 1,000 mq of floor space. Specialising in the production of famous local Bottarga including variations of Mullet and Tuna Bottarga, whole and grated.
From a micro enterprise - at the beginning of the activity - the Stefano Rocca Srl has grown and is leading the way with its
technologically advanced systems and operations.
Today we pride ourselves in being specialists on a national and international scale in the production and commercialization of the Bottarga and Fish products. Above all thanks to the dedication to the development of the use of raw materials along with a fundamental goal for having the highest quality products. Attention to also improving the production systems as well places the company at the top of technological characteristics with special thanks to the cooperation with the laboratories of the Departments of the Cagliari’s University.
