Epoxy iron red primer formation:
Epoxy iron red primers are widely used as primers for heavy anti-corrosive systems. Epoxy iron red primer is used as epoxy middle coat, epoxy topcoat, polyurethane topcoat, chlorinated rubber topcoat, etc.

Epoxy iron red primer is suitable for use as a primer/top coat for one or two coats, or as an intermediate coat on the recommended anti-rust primer. The epoxy primer provides rust shielding protection, resistance to chemical fumes and chemical spills, and good abrasion resistance. It is an ideal coating for medium corrosion environment and where fast drying/fast over coating is required.
Step 1: Substrate treatment
1.All surface shall be clean, dry and free from any contaminations to achieve long lasting function.
2.Steel substrate should be derusted to reach minimum Sa 2.5.
Step 2:Mix epoxy resin paint
1.Mixing ratio: Part A: Part B=20kg:4kg
2.Stir the mixed paint with overhead mechanical stirrer, with around 1500 RPM for 10 min.
3.Make sure prepared paint is homogeneous.
Step 3:Adjust spraying pressure
Adjust spraying pressure to 0.4-0.8 MPa, pick 3 mm spray gun.
Step 4: Apply the coating.
Keep sprayer nozzle perpendicular to and 30-50 cm away from surface. Spray with same pattern and speed to yield an even and good coverage.
