Principle
Vibrating sluice box gold mining is based on the difference between the specific gravity of gold and sand. The slurry flows through the chute, the large proportion of gold precipitates in the bottom layer, and the small proportion of sand floats in the upper layer to discharge the working area with the flow of water.
Originally, the fixed sluice box used gold-rush felt to extract gold. Because of the chute plate knot, silt trough, and other phenomena, gold-rush felt a net recovery rate of only about 30%. The vibrating sluice box has targeted these shortcomings.
Its bottom plate is made of a rubber plate, and the bottom plate is stirred mechanically to make the bottom plate agitate slowly, avoiding precipitation and compaction. Stir the bottom plate regularly to completely layer the minerals in the water. With the flowing force of the water, it is easy to discharge the tailings. Eventually, it increased the recovery rate of gold to around 90%.
