When removing and handling the pH indicator strips take care not to touch or cntaminate the test zones(reaction zones)
Place 2-3 drops of aspirate from the syringe onto the test zones of the indicator strip,ensuring that all test zones are completely wetted.
Within 10 to 15 seconds after the sample application,visually compre the reaction color on the test zones of the indicator strips with those of the color-comparison scale on the tube and read off the corresponding pH.
Use each test strip once only.

How to use the pH strips step by step?
1.Hold the color pad portion of the test strip in liquid stream for 1-2 seconds or immerse the test strip in a sample of liquid for approximately 1-2 seconds.
2.Gently wipe the test strip with a paper towel or other clean absorbant material to remove excess urine or wipe the excess urine off the test strip using the rim of a specimen container.
3.For the most accurate reading,wait approximately 15 seconds and compare your result with the color chart on the pack.Results read 30 seconds or more after the test strip has come into contact with liquid may not be accurate.

To Test Urine:Test the first and second urine of the day and record the average reading. To test, briefly place the pH strips in the urine stream and shake the excess fluid. Wait 15 seconds then compare your results to our pH chart.
To Test Saliva:Wait 2 hours after eating, place saliva into a spoon, and dip the pH strips into it. Wait 15 seconds then compare your results to our pH strips pH chart.
A reading of 6.5 pH 7.25 pH is balanced, 6.5 pH-6.0 pH is acidic,and 5.75 pH and lower is very acidic. Test 2-3 times per day on a daily basis for a week or more to get an average reading.
