Plywood is also called multi-layer wood (or Laminated Veneer Lumber, abbreviation LVL). It is the first scientific wood invention.
It is made of relatively thin wood veneer or two adjacent layers of wood grain perpendicular to each other laminated wood
(veneer). The wood pieces are coated with strong glue and pressed together under a certain temperature and pressure. Usually
phenolic adhesive, urea - formaldehyde adhesive and melamine adhesive. The common reason for using plywood instead of wooden
boards is because plywood has strong cracking, shrinking, twisting and ordinary high strength properties.
