Solubility: Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, chloroform and other organic solvents.
Packaging: The standard packaging is 50 kg net in sealed plastic drum or 180kg net in sealed iron drum.
Storage: It is recommended to store the product in a dry place at 25°C max, avoid direct sunlight and rain, upending is forbidden. Prolonged storage over 60 °C can cause some discoloration.
Shelf life: Should remain within the specification limits at least one year after production, provided it is properly stored.
Application: HBS-A2000 is a neat lauric diethanlo amide. It is an internal antistatic additive which can be used in various polymers such as PE, PP, LDPE, HDPE, PVC, PS, SAN and ABS. HBS-A2000 gives immediate and sustained antistatic action even in a low humidity enviroment.
HBS-A2000 can be easily and accurately added by blending with other ingredients prior to extruding. Some indication for the level applied in various polymers is given below:
