Bearing characteristics
Deep groove ball bearing is the most representative rolling bearing with a wide range of applications. It is suitable for high-speed or even extremely high-speed operation, and it is very durable without regular maintenance. This kind of bearing has the advantages of small friction coefficient, high limit speed, simple structure, low manufacturing cost and high manufacturing accuracy. It is widely used in precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles and general machinery. It is the most widely used type of bearing in the machinery industry. It mainly bears radial load and a certain amount of axial load.
When a larger radial clearance is selected, the axial bearing capacity increases, and the contact angle is zero when bearing pure radial force. When there is axial force, the contact angle is greater than zero. Generally, stamping wave cage, turning solid cage and sometimes nylon cage are used.
After the deep groove ball bearing is installed on the shaft, the axial displacement in both directions of the shaft or housing can be limited within the axial clearance of the bearing, so it can be positioned axially in both directions. In addition, this kind of bearing also has a certain centering ability.
When it is inclined by 2 ′ ~ 10 ′ relative to the shell hole, it can still work normally, but it has a certain impact on the service life of the bearing. Deep groove ball bearing cages are mostly steel plate stamping wave cages, and large bearings mostly adopt vehicle made metal solid cages.
Deep groove ball bearing is the most commonly used rolling bearing. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure and convenient use. It is mainly used to bear radial load, but when the radial clearance of the bearing is increased, it has certain performance of angular contact ball bearing and can bear combined radial and axial load. When the rotating speed is high and the thrust ball bearing is not suitable, it can also be used to bear pure axial load. Compared with other types of bearings with the same specification and size of deep groove ball bearing, this kind of bearing has small friction coefficient and high limit speed. However, it is not resistant to impact and is not suitable to bear heavy load.

Method of extending the bearing’s lifetime:
1. The installation is correct, that affects precision, life, performance. And fill the bearing with lubricant after installation.
2. Don't allow strong impact, such as hammer striking, transfer roller pressure
3. Use the accurate installation tool, avoid to use cloth kind and short fibers
4. Lubricate the bearing to avoid rust with high quality mineral oil, especially in summer
5. General inspection, such as the surrounding temperature, vibrate, noise inspection
6. Keep bearing cleaning from dirt, dust, pollutant, moisture.
7. Bearing should not be ultra cooled.
