Polypropylene (PP) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic.High impact resistance, strong mechanical properties, resistance to a variety of organic solvents and acid and alkali corrosion.It is widely used in industry and is one of the common polymer materials.Australian coins are also made of polypropylene.
Mainly used in the production of all kinds of long and short polypropylene fiber, used in the production of polypropylene woven bags, packaging bags, injection products and other flame retardant parts for the production of electrical appliances, telecommunications, lighting, lighting equipment and TV sets.
The modified materials are more widely used and can meet more and higher requirements.
PP plastic reinforced with glass fiber
Glass fiber reinforced PP is on the basis of the original pure PP, adding glass fiber and other additives, so as to improve the scope of use of materials. Generally speaking, most of the glass fiber reinforced materials are used in the structural parts of the product, which is a kind of structural engineering material.
Advantages:
1. After glass fiber reinforcement, glass fiber is a high temperature resistant material, so the heat resistance temperature of reinforced plastic is much higher than before without glass fiber.
2. After glass fiber reinforcement, due to the addition of glass fiber, the mutual movement between the polymer chains of plastic is limited, therefore, the shrinkage rate of reinforced plastic decreases a lot, and the rigidity is greatly improved.
