Section 1:  Rice Bran Pretreatment and Expanding Workshop

Process Description:

 1). Cleaning, Bran and Tips Separation

The bran and tips separation is mainly realized through bran and tips separation screen.
Because there are broken rice, bran tips in the rice bran, also sometimes there will be full rice into the rice bran because of the rice screen’s broken or poor assembling, if don’t separate them from the rice bran, these materials will speed up the abrasion of extruder, the most important thing is the broken rice have much content starch, which will cause no pressure in the extruding process. 
This separation screen has four-layers screen, it equals to two sieves capacity, which has the features of large capacity and good separation effect.

 

 

2). Softening and Conditioning of Rice Bran Oil Process Machinery

The vertical softening pot is formed of many layers single pot together, the structure of each layer pot is almost same, both have side interlayer and bottom interlayer, the interlayer can get into steam to heat and soften the rice bran. In the center of softening pot, there’s a vertical shaft through all layers, each single pot has two paddle type mixing wing fixed on the vertical shaft, to mix the raw materials. Each layer pot has discharging hole on the bottom plate, and each layer discharging hole has been installed automatic material door, through the quantity of discharged materials to control the material thickness of each layer pot. Meanwhile each layer pot has steam discharge pipe on the side walls, all the pipes are connected to main steam discharge pipe, to discharge the water vapor which evaporated in the softening process.

3). Extruding Process:

The conditioned rice bran gets into the extruder for extruding process to strength the extraction effect. In the extruder, the rice bran suffers the mechanical action of extruding, kneading, cutting, forcing, etc, and the wet and hot effect of steam, also the friction heating effect, after these process, the oily cells are destroyed completely, then the oil can be exposed fully. On the end of extruding screw, the temperature and pressure of raw materials are very high, the high temperature and high pressure raw materials get out from the hydraulic mould, then suffer pressure relief suddenly, the raw materials expand rapidly, the moisture is evaporated fastly, then get the loose multihole and high strength extruding materials.

 

 

4). Drying and Cooling of Rice Bran Oil Process Machinery

The extruded rice bran gets into the plate turning cooler for drying and cooling, this can improve the quality of extraction materials, to improve the extraction effect. 
The plate turning cooler includes the foundation, head cover, materials distributor, cooling bin, discharging device, materials hopper, etc. 
The hot and wet materials get into the cooling bin through air sealing feeder or air locker, under the function of materials distributing structure, the materials are lay on the turning plates averagely.

 

 

Section 2:  Rice Bran Solvent Extraction Workshop

Process Description:

1). Solvent Extraction Procedure

The extruded rice bran gets into the extractor through feeding scraper, the materials run a circle from the feed inlet to discharge outlet in the extractor. Spraying the extruded rice bran with the concentrate diminishing miscella between the feed inlet to discharge outlet. Then before getting into the drain off section, spraying again with fresh solvent, the drained wet meal discharges into the wet meal scraper from the extractor’s discharge grid through kick-out device. The concentrated miscella gets into the two-stage hydrocyclone from the pump, to remove the powder impurities, finally get into the miscella tank

 

 

 

 

2). Desolventizing Procedure of Rice Bran Oil Process Machinery :

The solvent contain wet meal that from the extractor are sent to the DTDC desolventizer’s pre-desolventizing layer by scraper through air locker, the bottom is heated by indirect steam to remove part of solvent; then the pre-desolventized wet meal get into the desolventizing layer, there are automatic control on the desolventizing layer to keep certain thickness of materials, then the bottom gets into the direct steam to remove all the solvent, at same time some steam condense in the meal, the moisture content of meal will sectional rise.

 

The desolventized meal falls onto the drying layer quantitative through rotary valve, the drying layer keeps certain materials level, then process the drying procedure, after drying get into the cooling layer to lower down the temperature, finally discharge the finished meal through automatic flow controlling gate, then though the scraper to transport the meal to warehouse.
The mixed vapor of solvent and steam that get out from the top of desolventizer through solvent catcher, get into the shell side of first long tube evaporator as the heating medium of first desolventizing miscella

3). Evaporation Procedure of Rice Bran Oil Process Machinery :

The miscella is sent to the first long tube evaporator’s tube pass from the miscella tank through first evaporation feeding pump, the mixed vapor of desolventizer is the heating medium for first evaporation. The evaporated solvent gets into the evaporating condenser from the separation room, there are level control device on the separation room’s outlet conduit to keep the liquid seal, the first evaporator keeps certain residue pressure by low vacuum injection pump, which can make the solvent thant in the first evaporation oil evaporates under the negative pressure, this can lower down the solvent boiling point to improve the working steam use ratio.

 

The miscella that after first evaporation concentrated, through the second evaporation feeding pump gets into the second long tube evaporator for evaporating, the second evaporation is also negative evaporation, the shell pass is heated by indirect steam, the evaporated solvent vapor gets into the evaporating condenser through the separation room, there are level control device on the separation room’s outlet conduit to keep the liquid seal, the outlet miscella gets into the steam stripping tower after heated by oil-oil heat exchanger, at same time, the heating steam of second evaporation has adjusting valve group to control the temperature of outlet miscella.

The miscella gets into the stripping tower from top, fall on to the discs, then lower down layer by layer, meanwhile inject direct steam from bottom to remove the residue solvent. There are evaporation condenser at the top of stripping tower, the high vacuum injection pump can keep the stripping tower working under negative pressure, there are liquid level controller installed at the bottom of stripping tower, to make sure the liquid seal and steady flow of product oil, the crude oil draws out from the bottom of stripping tower by pump, then through oil-oil exchanger and crude oil cooler, the crude oil can get into the crude oil tank.

4). Solvent Condensation Water Separation Procedure of Rice Bran Oil Process Machinery:

The liquor condensate that from evaporation condenser, energy saver condenser and steam stripping condenser is collected together then through recovery pump to inject them into water segregator. The end condensed steam enter into the energy saver condenser, the energy saver’s liquor condensate and first evaporation shell pass’s liquor condensate get into the water segregator directly. The free gas of energy saver condenser,tripping condenser, water segregator and solvent library together enter into the final condenser, the end steam from final condenser is absorbed by paraffin recovery device.
The solvent phase of water segregator flows into solvent library for partial recycling, the water phase discharged into steam tank, the direct steam gets into the steam tank from the bottom to evaporate residue solvent, after this the water phase discharged into water seal tank.

 

5). Tail Gas Absorption Procedure

The non condensed vapor from extraction evaporator, DT evaporator, oil stripper, cooking pot, water segregator and underground solvent tank, get into the final condenser for recovering the solvent, the non condensed vapor from the final condenser gets into the mineral oil recovery device, the free gas are discharged into air through fire barrier.

 

Section 3:   Crude Rice Bran Oil Refining and Dewaxing Workshop

Process Description of Crude Rice Bran Oil Production Line:

1.Hydration Degumming, Alkali Refining Section

The main equipments of batch-type processing craft are hydration kettle, alkali refining pot, they are drived by double speed motors. If the heating medium is steam, then it can use coil type heater.    

 

2.Vacuum Dehydration and Bleaching Section of Rice Bran Oil Process Machinery

The main equipments of batch-type processing craft are bleaching pot, vacuum pump, filter. The process vacuum dehydration and bleaching are working in same machine.  If the heating medium is steam, then it can use coil type heater. In vacuum condition, the dehydration is finished in the bleaching pot, after bleaching, lower down the temperature, then get into the oil clay separation equipment to filter the decolorising agent. 

 

3.Vacuum Deodorization Section

The main equipments of batch-type processing craft are deodorization pot, vacuum pump, steam heater. Let the bleached oil get through the vacuum deodorization pot to remove the undesirable odor.

 

4.Winterization Dewaxing Section of Rice Bran Oil Process Machinery :

The deodorization oil gets into the crystallizing tank, the cooler will adjust the temperature to 50℃, then in crystallizing tank the cooling water will cool the oil to 20℃, after 72 hours crystallization, filter the oil to remove the wax.
