1. What is the minimum and maximum diameter of stampings KCP can produce?
We have the capability to produce stampings from OD 25mm to 1250mm for various applications.
2. What is the minimum and maximum thickness of stampings KCP can produce?
We can produce stampings of thickness ranging from 0.20mm to 1mm.
3. What is the die-casting capacity?
KCP has the facilities to produce rotors of up to OD 325mm, core length up to 500mm and up to 50kg aluminium in a single rotor.
4. Do you have heat-treatment facility?
Yes, KCP has in-house facility for pre-heating rotor lamination, decarburisation, annealing and bluing of stampings and also stress-relieving.
5. What is the MOQ for my order?
We are flexible with the MOQ for our customers. The MOQ will depend on:
a. Stamping size requirement.
b. Whether the size and design of the lamintion is standard/customised.
c. Subject to availability of raw material.
6. What are the manufacturing processes used for punching?
We punch materials using different processes depending on size, quantity and tool layout.
We punch laminations using high-speed progressive punhcing, single-notching and gang-punching.
For orders of smaller quantity/one-time orders, we can facilitate the customer's order by punching cost-efficient laminations using single-notching or gang-punching.
7. Do you also help with R&D/prototype development of laminations?
Yes, we can facilitate our customers for R&D and prototype development activities using laser-cutting.
8. What are your quality control capabilities?
We can conduct the following tests for quality control of raw material and finished products (furnished based on customers' requests):
a. Watt loss Test
b. Dimensional check
c. Material hardness
d. Coating test
e. Conductivity test for aluminium and copper
f. Rotor quality analysis
9. Do you provide stampings for energy-efficient motors?
Yes, we can supply ultra-thin stampings and copper die-casted rotors for energy-efficient motors.
10. What is the lead time?
The average lead time is approx. 45 days, subject to design and size of the lamination.
11. What kind of packaging is used?
We use sea-worthy packaging. The finished material is packed in VCI paper/bag and further in fumigated boxes. We can also cater to any specific customer requirements related to packaging.
12. Where is your manufacturing unit locatd?
Our facilities are located in the automobile hub IMT Manesar, Gurgaon, which is 30 minutes away from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
