Bottle storage platforms, mainly used in dairy, juice, beverage, beer, food, medicines and other products after bottling or packaging production line as a buffer to connect to all equipments.

1 External dimension

Bottle storage platform’s total length: 4000mm, effective length: 3860mm, total width: 2230mm, effective width:2000mm. Effective storage area is 7.72 square meter. Height is according to customer’s request.

2 Bottle storage quantity and buffering time

  1 If the bottle diameter is 67.2mm, bottle storage quantity is about 1575 bottles, output is 19500 bottles per hour and the buffering time is about 4.8min.

  2 If the bottle diameter is 69.5mm, bottle storage quantity is about 1489 bottles, output is 15000 bottles per hour and the buffering time is about 5.9min.

  3 If the bottle diameter is 105mm, bottle storage quantity is about 638 bottles, output is 10500 bottles per hour and the buffering time is about 3.6min.

  4 If the bottle diameter is 110mm, bottle storage quantity is about 583 bottles, output is 9000 bottles per hour and the buffering time is about 3.8min.

3 Conveying system specifications

  1 Main side plate uses 3mm stainless steel plate through the bending forming.

  2 The support stand uses 50*50*2mm stainless steel square tube by welding and connected by fastener.

  3 The transverse holding rod of conveying belt uses 50*50*2mm stainless steel square tube by welding and connected by fastener.

  4 The longitudinal holding rod of conveying belt uses aluminium alloy extrusions with macromolecule wear-resisting plastic strip.

  5 Conveying belt uses BD-2000 modular belt

  6 The chain wheel of conveying belt uses BD-2000 10-tooth nylon chain wheel whose external diameter is 160mm.

  7 Driving shaft and driven shaft uses 60*60mm stainless steel square shaft.

  8 Carrying idler uses stainless steel roller whose diameter is 60mm.

  9 The fence uses aluminum track with fixed support stand.

4 The drive and control system specifications

  1 The drive is 1.1KW gear reduction motor made in Taiwan.

  2 Governor is 1.1KW frequency converter made in Taiwan.

  3 Bottle storage platform’s linear velocity is adjustable from 0 to 1 meter per hour.

  4 The detecting optoelectronic switch is Omron brand.

  5 Control program uses Siemens PLC programming.

  6 Control chest is made of stainless steel. Switches and electric relays are Schneider brand.

5 Working process

When bottling line machines are working, the buffering platform doesn’t work. When the machines which are after buffering platform break down, bottles will be blocked. If the bottles have blocked to the machines which are before buffering platform and the bottles are not flowing, the buffering platform will work. It will rotate reversely and let the bottles flow to the buffering platform. When the machines which are after buffering platform are at normal work, there is no blocked bottle, the upriver bottles are flowing, the buffering platform will rotate positively and let the bottles out of it. When the buffering platform is full of bottles, though the machines which are after buffering platform haven’t work, it will not work. The whole working process is controlled by automatic PLC programming and it doesn’t need human assistance.
