Heat insulation:
The coefficient of thermal conductivity of aerated concrete is 1/6 of the normal concrete, heat insulation performance is better than the 240 mm thick clay brick wall greatly. when temperature is under 600 degrees, aerated concrete’s compreessive strength has a slight growth. As the temperature at 600 degrees or so, its compressive strength is close to room temperature compressive strength.
