Zinc Stearate Property
Zinc Stearate is white flammable fine powder,no smell and with specific gravity 1.095. It can dissolve in hot common solvent and acids, but not in water, ethanol or aether. It will become to glue when cooled after being heated in the organic solvent and be decomposed to stearate or salt when meet strong acid and can absord moisture in air.
Zinc Stearate Application
Zinc stearate can be used as heat stabilizer; lubricant; grease; accelerator; thickener, etc. For example, it can generally be used as a heat stabilizer for PVC resin. Used in general industrial transparent products; used with calcium soap, can be used in non-toxic products, generally this product is mostly used in soft products, but in recent years, hard and transparent products such as mineral water bottles, water pipes and other products have been used.
