Matting agent 770 is an untreated fine-grained precipitated silica with 6-7 um particle size .
This efficient matting agent is especially suitable for pigmented systems.
It is often used in can and coil coatings, decorative coatings, wood coatings and industrial coatings such as polyurethane varnishes,air drying and oven-dried industrial coatings and DIY paints etc.
Adding silica will improve the viscosity of coatings and paints, thus enhancing the convenience in using these materials.
