Yogie Customized Steel Large Simplex Duplex Triplex drive Roller Chain Sprockets for Industrial Machinery
Roller chain sprockets, sometimes called single-strand sprockets, have a series of teeth around a central bore and are used in combination with roller chains to move conveyors and other industrial machinery. Fixed bore sprockets are designed to fit a specific shaft size and include a keyway and setscrew so they're ready to install. Plain bore sprockets are manufactured without a keyway or set screw. Keyways or set screws can be machined to the exact size required by the existing shaft and application. Bushed bores have more clamping area around the shaft to provide a secure fit for high torque or high-power applications when the shaft is at risk of slipping, such as paper milling and agricultural machinery. Hardened teeth give these steel sprockets increased wear resistance for a long service life.
Our factory mainly product all kind of large nonstandard sprockets according to customer’s drawing and requirements. Sprocket material should ensure that the teeth have enough strength and wear resistance, so the tooth generally do the surface quenching to improve the hardness.
Technological Process
42CrMo,C45 or other ally steel will be used as raw material according to the customer’s requirements through forging or casting method. Ultrasonic inspection will be done to ensure the material are free of pore,holes and cracks. Measuring the size of the forging,calculation the processing allowance and accurate to estimate the cutting times in the turning process.

Surface quenching will be done after finish machining to improve the hardness and abrasive resistance. after the surface
