XTRA PowerBio is an amino acid based solution for crop bio-stimulation that can be used for organic agriculture, mainly formulated to enhance tolerance to abiotic and biotic stress (e.g. extreme weather conditions, field practices and management), and to improve nutrient use efficiency regardless the nutrients contents of soil and amendments it also improves growth and development, which would increase yield and quality traits. To improve the overall performance of crops, the formula is a meticulous integration of protein hydrolysates well-known for their anti-stress properties and nutrition use and uptake, of which organic carbon (OC), the main source of energy for soil microorganisms, and the added organo-mineral nitrogen (N) is to control the carbon-to-nitrogen ratio (C/N ratio), which determines carbon quality and availability, and regulates decomposition and fertility in soils. The amino acids are the precursors and constituents of proteins in plant metabolism under stress conditions. Biostimulation in conjunction with chelated water-soluble micro-nutrients provide all the elements required for healthy growth and development without compromises.

The use of XTRA PowerBio in the appropriate doses creates favourable environment to sustain and develop growth, which improves crops nutrients uptake efficiency, reduces susceptibility to pathogenic attacks, and increases tolerance and response to biotic and abiotic stress and pathogens.

Application:

The high quality of raw material used in XTRA PowerBio makes the product ideal for foliar use, on all crops, in particular for organic production, whenever the crops show stress symptoms related to agricultural practices (ploughing, before or after weed control, etc.) or to climate conditions (freezing, hail, etc.), at any growth stage. If needed, the product could also be used by fertigation. A distance of 10-15 days is recommended between applications. Avoid spraying tender plants, during full bloom and in extreme weather conditions (hot weather, cold and in wind), to prevent yield damage and to reduce losses by evaporation, freezing and drifting. For tender crops and in protected agriculture use half of the recommended rates, and adjust the rates according to soil pH conditions (increase under saline conditions).

XTRA PowerBio is recommended for two to three applications according to the instructions indicated below. The rates should be adjusted according to the crop type and variety and the agricultural practices. Therefore, the rates indicated in the table below are only indicative. For more information, we recommend to discuss the specific crop and field conditions with an agronomist.

Compatibility:

XTRA PowerBio is compatible with most soluble fertilisers, crop nutrients and amendments, herbicides and pesticides. Before using previously untried mixes, we strongly recommend performing a compatibility test on a small sample.

Handling & Storage: Handle with care and keep at ambient environment of the warehouse, out of reach of children or animals. Use only in case of need respecting the indicated doses, avoid skin and eyes contact and inhalation. Not to be sold loose.
