Underfloor heating Boards
Underfloor heating boards are made with grooved extruded polystyrene (XPS) laminated with aluminum foil or aluminum sheet used as a alternative to a screed type systems.The foil distributes the heat evenly across the entire floor surface, the warm up time is drastically reduced compared to traditional wet screed systems. Electric heating pipes and warm water heating pipes can be put on to the boards directly. The boards come with pipework grooves cut out ready to fit the pipes insides. A 18mm floating chipboards subfloor or a 18mm engineered click wood flooring can be installed straight on top of the panels ready for floor coverings such as carpets, tiles etc..
