Classified by surface condition
Galvanized steel wire rope
It includes two methods: hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. The protection of the galvanized layer to the steel wire belongs to anodic protection. The thicker the galvanized layer, the stronger the corrosion resistance.
Plastic-coated steel wire rope
Coating a certain thickness of plastic on the outer surface of the steel wire rope or the outer surface of the strand, including polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, etc.
Smooth steel wire rope
The rope steel wire obtained after heat treatment and cold drawing of the raw materials prepared on the surface (Note: the phosphate film formed in the pretreatment process will gradually fall off during the cold drawing process and the drawing die), the steel wire is no longer After any surface treatment, the strand rope, steel core and steel wire rope are directly twisted.

Quality judgement
1. The diameter of the wire rope is the same, the heavier the specific gravity, the better the quality of the wire rope;
2. The stronger the steel wire rope core, the heavier the specific gravity, the better the support for the outer strands of the steel wire rope, and the better the quality of the steel wire rope;
3. The material is steel grade and strength. The higher the steel grade, the higher the strength of the wire rope, the better the quality;
4. After the rope is cut, the slightly loose quality is good, and the quality of the wire rope with relatively long lay length is better than that with short lay length;
5. The anti-corrosion ability of 316 stainless steel wire rope is stronger than that of 306 stainless steel wire rope. 306 has stronger anti-corrosion ability than hot-dip galvanized steel wire rope. The quality of hot-dip galvanized steel wire rope is better than that of electro-galvanized steel wire rope. Plastic steel wire rope has better quality than PVC plastic steel wire rope, and plastic steel wire rope has stronger anti-corrosion ability than galvanized steel wire rope.
