Polymer-DV, LLC is a manufacturer of GRR (Generation of Rational Radiation) products, polyethylene film, processed raw materials, and (processed) LDPE film.
We have developed a unique type of polyethylene – Generation of Rational Radiation, or GRR film, for domestic application and agriculture. The GRR film suppresses the growth of pathogenic microorganisms in the soil while accelerating plant growth and, hence, improving productivity. Plants that were grown using the GRR technology can be stored much longer than those grown under normal conditions.
Our manufacturing capacity allows us to produce custom-tailored PE products at an affordable price.
We offer a wide range of products including:
* garbage bags,
* covering material,
* domestic films,
* industrial films,
* agricultural films (for greenhouses, etc.),
* thermoresistant films, and
* various lining material.
We recycle high-pressure polyethylene (LDPE) to produce processed LDPE granules –the raw material for the production of industrial films. Processed industrial films are as strong as the films produced from the primary granules of LDPE grade 10803-020. Industrial films are less transparent and have a characteristic smell. That is why they are called industrial – their application is not impacted by the transparency and smell. For example, industrial films are used for wrapping building materials, machinery, garbage, etc. Also, industrial films are widely used in agriculture. The raw material for the production of industrial films and garbage bags is recycled polymer granules. These are obtained through the washing and extrusion processes. About 50-55 tons of polymer material is required for production every month. Every year, we recycle up to 530 tons of polymers.
In 2012, we installed a new washing line for film cleaning – this has significantly improved the quality of non-food packaging products. We also installed a new extruder with a capacity of 3.5-4.0 tons per day. Polymer-DV LLC produces recycled materials. Industrial and domestic waste plastics are valuable secondary raw materials due to their ability to soften repeatedly when heated and harden when cooled, without losing their properties.
Secondary plastics include:
· PET (PETE) – polyethylene terephthalate
· PVC – polyvinyl chloride
· PP – polypropylene
· HDPE – low-density polyethylene
· LDPE – high-density polyethylene
· PE wax – polyethylene wax
· PA – polyamide
· ABS – acrylonitrile butadiene styrene
· PS – polystyrene
· PC – polycarbonate
· PBT – polybutylene terephthalate
