R8 is an integrated Amplifier, it is a Power Amplifier too (there is a group Power amp input), it is a Headphones amp too.
One amplifier can used wiht tube EL34, KT88 or 6550, so, you can get 3 kinds of sound from different models tubes if you buy more 2 new sets of tube.
Triode and ultra-linear Switchable.
only 1 kind of power tube come, you need to choose.
Features:
1; Pure bladder, pure hand-made, the whole machine adopts scaffold welding.
2: Use a square power transformer specially developed for this machine.
3: The output transformer adopts two high-quality wide-frequency response EI output transformers.
4: The voltage amplifying and driving stage uses a 6SN7 for power supply filtering.
5: The voltage amplifier stage and the push stage use two paired 6SL7 and 6SN7 vacuum tubes respectively. 6: The Power amplifier uses four KT88/6550/EL34 vacuum tubes for class AB push-pull power amplification.
7: Provide triode and super linear selection function. The working mode of the triode, the sound is soft, pure and sleek, suitable for listening to vocals, strings and other types of music. The super-linear working method has an open sound and unrestrained momentum, which is suitable for enjoying big scenes, big dynamics and other types of music.
7: External independent BIASADJ current display meter. The adjustment and BIAS meter monitoring function keeps the power vacuum tube in the best condition at all times.
8: The external EL34/KT88 vacuum tube selection function facilitates the replacement of different types of vacuum tubes
9: Infrared full-function remote control.
10: Use a thick layer of silver-plated signal leads.
11: With pure post-level function, it can be connected to independent pre-level signal input.
12: Power-on mute delay function (about 30 seconds).
13: Use Japanese ALPS high-end motor potentiometer.
