WD-WHT-TL Railway single core cable outer sheath tester
In view of the characteristics of the fault of railway cable sheath, the instrument uses the bridge method or voltage drop method to measure the grounding fault of cable sheath under the condition of separation of cable sheath and shield layer, and then with the special receiver to find the exact fault point. Instrument built-in high-precision measurement unit, if there is a good auxiliary cable sheath, at the beginning of the bridge method measuring failure, without moving the instrument to the side, the test equipment can directly show the fault distance, rapid measurement, if no good auxiliary cable sheath, also can through the fault test on both ends of the cable outer sheath, the resistance (voltage) comparison method calculating the fault distance, sticking out of the sheath If the resistance value per kilometer of the sheath is known, the failure distance of the outer sheath can be calculated by testing the single-end pressure drop of the outer sheath of the faulty cable. The combination of outer sheath transmitter and fixed point receiver can realize the precise fixed point of cable sheath grounding fault. The instrument is used for fault detection of outer sheath of cross-linked cable; It can also be used for fault detection of buried line and all plastic line (no metal sheath cable); It can also be used for 10KV DC voltage withstand test of cables or other electrical appliances.
