Product Description
Classification of rubber molds
According to the mold structure and product production process, it is divided into four types: compression molding mold, die-casting mold, injection mold, extrusion mold, injection mold, extrusion mold, four common molds, and special rubber molds for producing special rubber products, such as inflatable Molds, dipping molds, etc. The following is a detailed introduction to the classification of rubber molds.
1. Compression mold.
Also called ordinary stamper. Put the refined, processed, semi-finished product of the stated shape and weight directly into the mold, and then send it to the plate vulcanizer for pressure heating. Under pressure and heating conditions, the rubber is vulcanized and formed.
Features: The mold structure is simple, versatile, widely applicable, and convenient to operate, so it occupies a large proportion of rubber molded products.
2. Casting and casting molds.
Also called transfer mold or extrusion mold. Put the refined rubber block or semi-finished rubber block with a simple shape and a certain limit into the die-casting mold, and squeeze the rubber material through the pressure of the die-casting plug, so that the rubber material enters the mold cavity through the casting system for vulcanization and vulcanization. Stereotyped.
Features: It is more complex than ordinary compression molds, and is suitable for making thin-walled, slender and curved products that cannot be suppressed or barely suppressed by ordinary compression molding, and rubber products with complex shapes that are not easy to feed. The product produced by the mold has good compactness and good quality.
3. Injection mold.
The method is to inject and vulcanize the rubber material preheated to a plastic state in an injection mold.
The structure is complex, suitable for large-scale, thick-walled, thin-walled, and complex-shaped workpieces. High efficiency, high quality, can realize production automation.
4. Extrusion molding die.
Using forming molds, semi-finished rubber profiles with various cross-sectional shapes are made, which are then cooled and shaped and transported to a vulcanizing tank for vulcanization or used as pre-formed semi-finished rubber materials required for compression molding.
