Vmaxpower Inverter Charger is an all-in-one device. The inverter converts DC power to AC power, while also automatically charging a battery bank when city or generator power is available. When connected to AC power, the unit charges and maintains the required battery bank. As soon as the AC power is disconnected or city power is lost, the inverter switches to the DC battery source.
Vmaxpowerr offers Pure Sine Wave inverter chargers. Pure Sine Wave is a very clean power, in the same way as utility power. Modified Sine Wave is a more standard form of power that has the ability to run the majority of appliances and tools. Pure Sine inverters are necessary when powering sensitive equipment, like medical equipment, electronic thermostats, LED lights and TV's.
The most common battery banks are 12 volts and 24 volts. While a 12-volt bank is more common in a vehicle or motorhome, 24 volts can be found in buses and large, off-grid battery banks. Even though 24-volt systems are more efficient than 12-volt systems, 12-volt battery banks guarantee a simple setup for small battery banks. Larger battery banks operate more efficiently with series and parallel connections, versus all parallel.
