The exhaust system is the first stage in transforming your Vespa scooter into a new refined sport scooter. In addition to increasing your power, the full system exhaust gives your scooter a distinctive deeper sportier sound. As if giving it balls weren't enough, visually the exhaust are simply a work or art. These are literally the nicest looking exhausts we have ever seen. This is not a mass-produced muffler, these exhaust systems were developed based on GP winning sport bike performance and as a result of that experience.
Akrapovic was able to apply it into the scooter world and created the perfect scooter exhaust, with a healthy increase in power and style to match.
Installation is easy, this complete exhaust system takes the place of your factory exhaust. Includes all brackets and hardware. Simply remove your overweight stock exhaust and install your new exhaust. The oxygen sensor gets removed from the stock exhaust and installed in the new one. The weight savings alone is remarkable. The stock exhausts weigh in at 14 pounds of unsprung weight. Every time you hit a bump, your whole motor goes up and down as well as your exhaust. This exhaust weighs a mere 7 pounds and lightens up your rear suspension quite a bit.
