Access doors are used in duct systems for many reasons. Entry is often required to facilitate duct cleaning, examine equipment, or to test, repair, or troubleshoot system components. Certain building codes require access doors when utilizing fire dampers.

· 16mm notched knock over tabs on the inside of the frame provide for easy installation.
· “Safe-edge” radiused tabs on frame.
· Casing material: Galvanized steel, double panel.
· Door: 24 gauge (0.7mm).
· Mounting Frame: 24 gauge (0.7mm) with 16mm notched knock over tabs.
· Gasketing: 3mm thick by 15mm wide closed cell foam tape gasketing between door and frame, and also between frame to duct.
· Insulation: fiberglass 25mm thickness.
· Latch: Self tightening, hand operated cam latch.
