Product function and feature:

Semi-universal indexing head is a simple universal indexing center and can be used for direct and direct indexing. For close-up

indexing and spiral processing, there is no need for accessories, but the whole indexing head structure and tailstock are the

same as those universal indexing heads. The center surface can tilt from 90 degrees in horizontal position to 10 degrees in

heavy straight position, and the tilt can be seen from the dial.

The use of semi-universal indexing head is that the handle turns one spindle to turn 8 degrees, while the spindle turns 40

degrees to turn 8 x 40 = 360 degrees. That is to say, we can use simple indexing method and angle indexing method. Simple

indexing method is mainly used for the parts that need to be divided into several parts such as circumference, while angle

indexing is mainly used for the processing of the parts of the shaft to form an angle rather than an equal structure.

Application:

It is used for the processing of workpieces which need to be divided into several parts on the circumference, and workpieces

of the processing axis form an angle with each other instead of equal structure.
