Work Principle
The X-ray is emitted from an X-ray tube with high voltage transformer and irradiates first to the mono-chrometer and then on the crystal sample ( the single-diffraction one irradiated directly on the crystal sample). The X-ray diffraction will occur when it compies with the Bragg formula nλ=2dsinθ. The diffracted X-ray will be connect ray will be collected by the Geiger tube and transferred to an electric signal. Through amplifier the signal will be amplified and displayed on the "μA" meter. In the way of double crystal it can get a sharp diffraction peak to improve the measurement precision.
Unit Construction
University used lithium niobate orientation instrument consists of work table, tube shroud, goniometer and mechanical parts and electrical system composed of electric stabilizer, controller, high voltage transformer, amplifier, Geiger counter, vacuum pump, cooling fan, X-ray tube, high voltage cable and other electic parts of indication.
