Universal Microwave Radar System

The blind spot detection warning system is an automotive safety system that equips with 2 radars in the left and right corners of
the rear of the car and a control box installed inside the cab with the electronic auxiliary alarm device. It can reduce all kinds
of unnecessary accidents when driving
in a special road and environment. The two rear radars detect the obstacles in the blind spot area and calculates the potential
danger and send information to the control box; then the control box commands the buzzer and LED indication to warn the driver.

Product Working Principle：

Blind spot detection warning system utilizes the principle of Doppler, sent 24GHz frequency signal on the obstacle by the
transmitter antenna, receiving and measuring the callback frequency to find the actual distance of the obstacle to prompt the
driver to drive safely through the BSW alarm indicator and the voice of the built-in buzzer of the controller.

The main functions of this system include：
-Rear Cross Traffic Alert(RCTA)；
- Blind Spot Detection(BSD)；
-Lane Change Assistance (LCDA)；

This radar detection system can provide visual and audible alert to operators to avoid potential danger and allow them to take
proper actions in advance.

BSD (Blind Spot Detection)

Vehicle-use radar detection system & blind spot monitoring system can transmit radar detection signal to the blind spots when the
car is running, radar detection signal transmission range - up to 2OM . When other vehicles are approaching the blind spots behind the vehicle, the system will launch audio warning the driver to avoid collision.

LCA (Lane Change Assistant)

When cars or pedestrians are approaching the detection area - 23~82ft (7~25m) behind the vehicle, and TTC (Time to Collision)
<2.5S, LED lights are always on. If the driver is about to change lanes, the blind spot monitoring system will launch audio
warning and flickering LED lights to warn the driver to avoid accidents caused by not having noticed the cars or pedestrians.

RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert)

when the car is in the R gear and the speed is 0 ≤vehicle speed ≤ 10km / h, the system comes into rear cross traffic alert function. When an obstacle enters the monitoring area, the indicator flashes and two beeps come from the buzzer; when the obstacle leaves the monitoring area, the alarm stops..

Led Indicator

Self-diagnostic at power on: radar system starts self-tet when car starts, both LED indicators at A-pillar flashes the buzzer gives one sound and then LED indicator stops flash, which shows the system functions normally. Indicator strategy: the brightness of LED indicators varies between day mode and night mode. Led light is brighter in the daytime than at night. In this way, the LED indication is clear to the driver and won’t disturb the driver.
