Neutral Density Glass Optical Filters / Neutral Grey Glass Optical Filters
The neutral denisty glass optical filter is made of neutral grey colored glass. It absorbs most of the visible light. As a result,
only a small fraction of visible light can pass through this filter. Depending on the neutral gray glass properties, it can be
used where light intensity needs to be reduced.
After the light in the visible region to the near-infrared region passes through the neutral density filter, different wavelengths are attenuated in the same proportion. This makes the optical element maintain approximately equal light energy transmittance in a wide band.
