Function 1: Read the storage device
Step 1 : Insert the storage device into the corresponding slot of the HDD docking station and align the interface.
Step 2 : Connect the power adapter and power cord. With USB 3.0 data cable to connect the product with the computer. USB data
cable is recommended to connect the computer's HOST USB interface. (as the picture shows)
Step 3 : open the power switch on the back of the HDD docking station, the indicator light, the computer reads the hard disk data.
Note: This feature does not require any drivers or software to be installed.
Function 2: One Touch Backup(OTB) function
Step 1 : Download and install the OTB software on your computer via the Download link.
Step 2 : On the basis of normal use of function 1, press OTB function button, the computer will pop up OTB software interface.
Step 3 : After entering OTB software interface, carry out OTB function operation.
Note : Before using the OTB function, OTB software must be downloaded and installed on the computer to use this function normally.
Function 3: Hard drive offline clone function
Step 1 : Insert Both hard drives and identify Source Disk and Target Disk (Mother HDD A=Source Disk; Son HDD B=Target Disk ).
Note: Your Source Disk must have less Capacity when compared to your Target Disk
Step 2 : Make sure that the USB cable is disconnected from any computer
Step 3 : Connect power supply and switch on power.
Step 4 : Press the OTC button. (as the picture shows)
Step 5 : The A LED and the B LED blink alternately, indicating that the cloning process has begun.
Step 6 : The A LED and B LED are always on, indicating that the cloning process has completed.
Step 7 : Finally press the power switch to the OFF position and eject your drives.
Note: The cloning process can take a couple minutes or up to 4 hours depending on the Files/Disks that are being cloned.
