Selection of electromagnetic flowmeter caliber:
The caliber of the selected instrument should be determined according to the flow rate of the pipeline, not necessarily the same as the diameter of the connecting pipeline.
1. Under normal circumstances, the pipeline flow rate is economic flow rate when it is 0.01m/s~3m/s. The meter caliber is the same as the pipe diameter. This choice is convenient for installation.
2. It is used for fluids containing substances that are easy to adhere, settle, scale, etc. It is recommended to use the common flow rate of not less than 2m/s, preferably increased to more than 3m/s, which can play the role of cleaning, preventing adhesion, sedimentation, etc. ;
3. It is used for fluids with strong abrasion such as ore pulp, and the common flow rate should be less than 3m/s to reduce the wear on the lining and electrodes;
4. When measuring the conductivity medium with a conductivity of 5μS/cm~10uS/cm, choose a low flow rate (0.01m/s~1m/s) as much as possible. The flow noise will increase due to the increase of the flow rate, and sloshing will occur.
5. The caliber of the instrument is ≤300mm, and the accuracy level can reach 0.2. The caliber of the instrument is greater than 300mm, and the accuracy class is 0.5 grade (special instructions are required when ordering less than 0.5 grade)
