The SatSleeve Hotspot's stand creates a portable satellite Wi-Fi hotspot, giving you satellite connectivity without physically docking your smartphone to a unit, and freedom to move indoors. You can leave the stand outside, stay indoors or in your vehicle, and use your smartphone in satellite mode inside. The Hotspot is the smallest, lightest, and most capable in the industry. It also comes with an additional safety feature - a programmable SOS button that works even if your smartphone isn't connected. This convenient function allows you to call a predefined number of your choice.

Calls and Text Messages in Satellite Mode:
Use your smartphone in satellite mode when there is no terrestrial network available to call and send text messages using your existing list of contacts.

Easy-to-Use
Simply connect your smartphone via Wi-Fi to the satellite unit and stay connected. The sound is now routed through the smartphone, resulting in even better sound quality.
Compatibility
The SatSleeve Hotspot App is available as a free download from the App Store or from Google Play. Our app is available in 12 languages. (This App is applicable for SatSleeve+ and SatSleeve Hotspot only and not for previous SatSleeve models.)
SOS Functions
The SatSleeve+ and SatSleeve Hotspot both come with a programmable SOS call button that works even if your smartphone isn't connected. The SOS button will make an outgoing call to a predefined number of your choice.
Not all mobile networks allow you to send text messages to satellite phones and as a result text messaging can be unreliable. Please check with your provider or contact us for further information.

The Thuraya NOVA SIM plans offer greater benefits, such as extended validity for Thuraya Satellite Phone customers than those on standard and back up SIM plans.However, these more attractive conversation rates are only available if the customer is within a NOVA zone.

Thuraya NOVA SIM Terms & Conditions:
First call must be made within 12 months, SIM is deactivated if the first call is not made within 365 days from the date of
activation. The Thuraya NOVA SIM has an initial validity of 365 days from first call. Renewal Fee: $39.00 (For every 365 days. 39 Units deducted automatically from balance on renewal date) If the account balance is below 39 units at the renewal time, the account enters the 3-month grace period (Incoming calls are still possible). If the account is refilled within the grace period, the existing balance will be restored. If account is not refilled within the grace period, it will be deactivated and the number will be lost.
The Thuraya NOVA options:
10 Units = 11 Minutes
30 Units = 35 Minutes
60 Units = 70 Minutes
170 Units = 200 Minutes

If a call is not made within the first 12 months from the date of activation, the SIM will enter dormancy status and a fee of $19 will be deducted from the balance every month till call is made. Thuraya Prepaid Plan has a validity of 365 days from first call.
Annual Renewal Fee: $39.00 (39 Units deducted automatically from balance on renewal date)
Annual renewal fee is waived for heavy users (over $1500 of satellite calls per year).
Upon expiry, account balance is reset to zero and the account enters the 90-day grace period (Incoming calls are still possible). If account is not refilled within the grace period, it will be deactivated and the number will be lost.
Dormancy Fee: If there is no activity on your SIM card for 12 months+ (e.g. making a call), then a dormancy fee of $19.00 will be deducted from your SIM card. If you have a balance with less than $19.00, then the entire balance will be deducted.
If the account is NOT refilled within the grace period, the entire unused balance will be reset to zero on your Thuraya SIM and the account will be permanently deactivated. Please note that upon requesting activation of your prepaid airtime you are agreeing that we can start providing your network services before the end of the usual statutory cancellation period and that by doing so, you lose your right to cancel your purchase of the prepaid airtime or request a refund. As a result, please check that you have ordered the correct airtime for your handset or terminal. Please refer to our terms and conditions for full information. This doesnot affect your statutory rights.
