STORAGE

RTV-830 and its catalyst should be stored in original, unopened containers between 15 and 25°C. Always tightly reseal containers after use. Air, moisture or other contamination causes a reduction in reactivity over time.

If stored correctly our RTV2 liquid silicone rubber will have a shelf life of 12 months, from the date of production.

4. How to make the silicone mould to use longer time?

--The best way is:

1)Please choose the right liquid silicone according to your applications.

2)Don’t use too much oil in mold making, because it can make the silicone mould become soft.

3)Silicone mould can be used for a long time , it’s better to wait 2 hours after the mould completely cured

5. Why bubbles occurred after mixing the part A and part B ?

 --This is normal physical phenomenon. Because the silicone rubber is a liquid with viscous,it will produce some bubbles when mixing, so you'd better to use vacuum machine to remove the bubbles before pouring.
