Product Description
Powder characteristics: chemical formula WC. It is a black hexagonal crystal with metallic luster. Its hardness is similar to diamond. It is a good conductor of electricity and heat. Insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, easily soluble in nitric acid-hydrofluoric acid mixed acid. Pure tungsten carbide is brittle and can reduce brittleness if a small amount of metals such as titanium and cobalt are added.
Application: used as super-hard cutting tool material, wear resistant material, cermet material, resistance heating element
