Description
These NTC thermistors are made from platinum alloy lead wires directly sintered into the ceramic body. They generally offer fast response times, better stability and allow operation at higher temperatures than Disk and Chip NTC sensors, however they are more fragile. It is common to seal them in glass, to protect them from mechanical damage during assembly, and to improve their measurement stability. The typical sizes range from 0.075 – 5mm in diameter.

1.The MF5A series components should be use within the temperature of 120Degree
2. As the soldering process you should note the following-
(1) The lead wire of NTC thermistor should not less than 8mm.
(2) Soldering requirement-
· Use 25W or 40W soldering iron for a weld soldering
· Temperature--330±20Degree
· Soldering time-- Less than 3S
· The break time of secondary welding should be more than 10 Minutes.
(3) Wave soldering--Preheat for 6S at 160Degree, dip coating should not more than 3S at 280Degree.
(4) Blowing into the body of a NTC thermistor with industrial hot air guns is prohibited.
