Tellerette Packing Ring originated from spiral shape of packing made of polyethylene under the license from Dr. Teller in the 1960s. Tellerette Packing Ring is composed of 12 small ring in radial arrangement and a big ball.  It havs the type of Tellerette S-O, Tellerette S, Tellerette S-II,Tellerette M, Tellerette L, Tellerette L-II, Tellerette LL  etc. ( caption as above photo)

1. Purpose of Tellerette 2K, 3k, 1R, 2R, 3R Bio Packing :

Tellerette packing has excellent features of mass and heat transfer efficiency for gas absorption, air conditioning, etc., it has been used as packing of high corrosion resistance and low pressure drop with extensive application for Gas Absorber, Cooling Tower, Deaerator, Reactor and other gas-liquid contact systems.

3.1. This form of packing is designed not to provide downward liquid flow with dead spots but large effective surface area per unit packing volume.
3.2. Excellent liquid distribution and uniformity are obtained, because of a large number of branching and junction, in addition to curve structure of the packing.
3.3. Reduction in pressure drop attained by filament-shape with large void space enables fans or blowers to require less electrical power (energy saving).
3.4. Packing made of synthetic resin means good chemical corrosion resistance and increased structural strength.
3.5. Light weight means easy handling to fill in and out.

Tellerette Packing Ring  can be made from heat resistant and chemical corrosion resistant plastics, including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), reinforced polypropylene (RPP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and polyvinyiidene fluoride (PVDF). The temperature in media ranges from 60 Degree C to 150 Degree C.
