Tanqueray Gin is a traditional English brand founded by Charles Tanqueray in Bloomsbury, London in 1830. Today this gin is very popular all over the world and is drunk especially as part of long drinks. Tanqueray Gin is an integral part of many drinks and cocktails in the USA.
It was also quickly exported, especially to the British colonies. In this way, the Tanqueray Gin quickly conquered the whole world from London.
After the death of the company's founder, Charles Waugh Tanqueray (the son of Charles Tanqueray) inherited the company. Tanqueray Gin later became a popular brand in the United States as well. The distillery was almost completely destroyed in German air raids in 1941, only one boiler remained intact and is still in use today. The distillery was rebuilt at its new location in Cameron Bridge, Scotland. Tanqueray Gin is still produced in Scotland to this day.
Not only is the quality special, but also the shape of the Tanqueray bottle. The green bottle is known all over the world and represents the salient qualities of Tanqueray Gin of class and superiority.
