The C8051F320/1 series utilizes the CIP-51 microcontroller core. CIP-51 is fully compatible with the MCS-51™ instruction set; standard 803x/805x assemblers and compilers can be used to develop the software. The CIP-51 core provides all peripherals included with the standard 8052, including four 16-bit counters/sizers, full-duplex UART with extended baud rate configuration, enhanced SPI port, 2304 bytes of on-chip RAM, 128 Byte Special Function Register (SFR) address space and 25/21 I/O pins.
