1) Grasp the pulling tab with a 5mm atraumatic laparoscopic grasper and insert the bag and closure string
completely through an appropriately sized trocar.
2) Grasp the pulling tab with the grasper, to fix the bag, and place the tissue specimen into the bag. (Fig. 1)
3) Once the tissue specimen is completely within the bag, grasp the loop at the end of the closure string with
another grasper and pull until the leading edge of the bag is inside the tip of the trocar. (Fig. 2)
4) If the tissue is small, the bag can be pulled out directly from the trocar; if the tissue is large, the trocar
should be withdrawn first, and then the bag will be pulled out from the access site. (Fig. 3)
