(1) Natural edible pigments: Phycocyanin is a water-soluble pigments, non-toxic, pure blue, bright and lovely, can be used as food colorants, cosmetics additives.
(2)Health food: Phycocyanin in vitro experiment can stimulate erythrocyte colony formation, similar to erythropoietin (EPO).
(3) The special reagent of biology, chemistry and cytology experiment: phycocyanin blue and fluorescent, which can be used as some photodynamic reagents in biology and cytology.
